Packers: Reviewing the roster midway through preseason
Defensive line
With the arrival of new defensive coordinator, Mike Pettine, and multiple new arrivals to the Packers defense, all eyes are on this defense and everyone is hoping for much-needed improvements on the defensive side of the ball after having a perennially bottom of the league unit.
We can safely say going into the 2018 season that the Packers defensive line is among the strongest position groups on the team, and can even go as far as to say it could be one of the best in the entire league.

The defensive line should make things easier on the linebackers this season, opening running lanes and allowing for more untouched defenders to get after the quarterback and into the opposing offense’s backfield.
The defensive line seems to be set in stone with Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark, Muhammad Wilkerson, Dean Lowry, and Montravius Adams. Adams has seemed to take a major step in the right direction and has been a force this preseason on the defensive line. His interior pass rush is shaping up to be quite an asset, and with the way he has been performing, he could very well end up being a starter in nickel packages.
