5. Kevin King, CB

Kevin King wasn’t thrown at much in Week 1. Expect that to change this week. The Vikings have two good receivers in Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. Cousins and Diggs already seem to have good chemistry. During Week 1 and the preseason, Diggs was the one Cousins looked for to make the big plays.

Thielen is the one Cousins looks to go to when things break down. Thielen is always in the right spot and makes both the contested and easy catches.

Vikings offensive coordinator John Defilippo will look to test the Packers’ young corner. King has the makings of a shutdown corner. His size and speed should aid him in handling either Diggs or Thielen.

The Packers offense could and would benefit from a few short fields. If the defense can come up with a few turnovers, the Packers, even with a hobbled Aaron Rodgers, should be able to take advantage.

King should have plenty of opportunities to come up with the Packers’ first interception of the year. As good as Cousins can be, he can also get a little reckless with the ball. If Clark and Martinez are doing their job, that should put the Packers in a place to put pressure on Cousins and give the secondary a chance to take a few passes away.
