1. Jaire Alexander

I am very excited about the play of Jaire Alexander. This week Alexander’s assignment is not as tough as the previous two weeks, but he does face a similar player from last week in Danny Amendola.

I don’t think Alexander will be matched up against any one player this week with an injury to Kevin King. But I feel that Amendola and Kenny Stills are the players Alexander matches up best against.

Alexander has been near dominant the past two weeks and I can’t wait to see the next step in his evolution. Could this be the week he snags his second interception of the season? With Brock Osweiler as the quarterback, it’s possible Alexander could come away with a couple picks.

When he’s on the field and healthy, Alexander has been easily one of, if not the best player on defense. He was even given high praise after last week’s game against the Patriots from both Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

In order for Alexander to live up to the hype he’s received, he must continue to have games like the last two weeks on a consistent basis. He’s done it for two straight weeks so now he must keep it up for the next one against the Dolphins.
