4. Raven Greene

Pressed into service because of Kentrell Brice’s injury in the first quarter, Raven Greene had a very solid game.

As previously stated, Greene recorded his first sack and almost added an interception in the second quarter, the first series he was in after the injury.

Greene’s stats weren’t anything to write home about (one tackle and one sack), but he was not a liability in coverage and did not make any glaring mistakes. Greene was a part of the secondary that covered long enough to lead to the six sacks.

Prior to this past Sunday, Greene was only used on special teams.

Greene is an undrafted free agent out of James Madison and at six-feet and 200 pounds, he has good size for a free safety. Giving the circumstances at safety, Greene may play a big role before the season is over. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was traded and it looks as if Brice may have a serious ankle injury.

It’s good to get his first extended action out of the way and come out in good shape. Greene showed enough promise to get some more playing time moving forward.

Ibraheim Campbell, who was added last week, will also be vital to the success moving forward, but Greene has been with the Packers since the start of the season and may have a leg up in playing time.
