4. Minnesota Vikings

Both the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings have dominated the NFC North in recent years. Until the Chicago Bears’ division win in 2018, either the Packers or Vikings had won the division seven years running, and 10 times in the previous 11 years.

That impressive run ended this past season when the Bears dominated and finished as the only playoff team in the NFC North. The Packers and Vikings both underachieved, but that may not be the case again in 2019. Both teams have come close to a Super Bowl appearance in recent years. The Packers made the NFC Championship Game in 2014 and 2016. The Vikings made the NFC title game in 2017.

And it’s fair to say that in recent years, the biggest rivalry in this division has been between these two teams.

An entertaining meeting at Lambeau Field last season led to a 29-29 tie. Green Bay threw away a 23-14, and then a 29-21 lead in the fourth quarter, but Minnesota missed the opportunity to win the game in overtime when kicker Daniel Carlson missed a field goal attempt from 35 yards.

With both teams aiming to get back to the playoffs in the 2019 season, the meeting at Lambeau Field would make for a great choice for primetime.
