Week 9: at Los Angeles Chargers

With one of the most balanced rosters in all of football, the Chargers present a daunting challenge for the Packers. Tied for No. 6 in scoring offense last year while also finishing No. 8 in scoring defense, it’s tough to predict anything but a victory for the home team in this one. LA Chargers 32, Green Bay 24 (4-5)

Week 10: vs. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are a tough team to predict in 2019. After starting last year 6-2, they went 1-7 the rest of the way. If Cam Newton is fully healthy, the Packers will have a tough challenge here. But as the game is at Lambeau Field, Green Bay gets the edge. Green Bay 32, Carolina 24 (5-5)

Week 11: BYE

Week 12: at San Francisco 49ers

These two teams put together an entertaining show at Lambeau Field last year, and the 49ers were without starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The 49ers could be one of the most improved teams in football this year. Dee Ford and Kwon Alexander were great additions on defense and Tevin Coleman makes their offense stronger. That said, the Packers have just enough to win by a field goal. Green Bay 23, San Francisco 20 (6-5)

Week 13: at New York Giants

Stopping Saquon Barkley will be priority number one in this game for Mike Pettine’s defense, but with the Giants trading away Odell Beckham, New York’s offense could become one-dimensional. Golden Tate is a great player, but without Beckham, the Giants have taken a big step back. Stop the run and the Packers should leave MetLife Stadium with the victory. Green Bay 27, NY Giants 14 (7-5)
