3. Geronimo Allison

Geronimo Allison‘s injury may have had a bigger impact on the Packers offense than we initially realized. Allison had been playing some of the best football of his career early in the 2018 season, putting up 303 yards and two touchdowns in five games. And despite missing 11 games, he still finished 2018 with a career-best in receiving yards.

One of his two touchdowns started the Packers’ incredible second-half comeback in the season-opening victory against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. Allison made an incredible catch in the end zone to give the Packers their first touchdown of the evening, a 39-yard connection with Aaron Rodgers, to pull Green Bay within 10 points. It gave the fans the belief that Green Bay could come back and win the game.

Allison’s season was cut short due to injury. Would he have continued to play at a high level? If so, the Packers would’ve had their clear number two wide receiver on the depth chart.

I predict Allison will bounce back from injury and have his best season yet in Green Bay. It’s unclear right now who will step up as the starter at receiver alongside Adams. If Allison can stay healthy, he could have a huge season.
