Packers: Five bold predictions vs. Bears in Week 15
4. Allen Robinson scores two touchdowns
Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson has been outstanding in recent weeks, and unfortunately, it’s hard to see the Packers defense being able to stop him. While the Packers have a lot of talent on defense, we haven’t seen it enough for a while. Green Bay is allowing 245.1 yards through the air per game, ranking 21st against the pass.
The Bears have momentum and quarterback Mitch Trubisky has played his best football of the season over the past few weeks, which has only helped Robinson. In the past three games, Robinson has caught 19 passes for 265 yards and four touchdowns.
The Packers were without cornerbacks Kevin King (shoulder) and Tony Brown (heel) last week. They both practiced on Wednesday, which is good news, but it remains to be seen whether they’ll return this week. It’ll also be interesting to see how defensive coordinator Mike Pettine plans to cover Robinson. Will one of King, if active, or Jaire Alexander follow him all game?
Robinson put in a strong performance against the Packers in the season opener, catching seven passes for 102 yards.
I hope to be wrong here, but I’m expecting another big day for Robinson, who will score two touchdowns against the Packers’ struggling defense.
