Packers 2010s All-Decade Team: Aaron Jones makes the team
WR: Jordy Nelson
Easy choice. In the past decade with the Packers, Jordy Nelson put up 7,162 receiving yards and 65 touchdowns. The Rodgers-to-Nelson connection will be the defining combination in both of their careers and is one of the greatest in Packers history.
There’s very little that defenses could do when Nelson got on the same page as Rodgers. The famous back-shoulder pass and deep shot downfield produced some memorable moments over the years.
Nelson is one of Green Bay’s best ever receivers.
WR: Davante Adams
With Nelson gone, Rodgers needed a new go-to target. Enter Davante Adams, who is currently one of the league’s best receivers. In six years, Adams has 5,194 yards and 44 touchdowns, with three straight seasons with double-digit touchdowns.
Again, another easy choice for this All-Decade Team offense.
WR: Greg Jennings
It wasn’t easy to leave out Randall Cobb, but Greg Jennings just has the edge. Cobb made some of the most memorable plays of the decade and played eight seasons in Green Bay compared to Jennings’ three in the decade.
But Jennings made such an important contribution in the Packers’ championship season that he gets in the team. In 2010, Jennings put up 1,265 yards and 12 touchdowns then caught two touchdowns in the Super Bowl win.
Jennings would catch another 13 touchdowns in his final two seasons with the Packers.
TE: Jermichael Finley
One thing that shows just how important Jermichael Finley was to Green Bay’s offense is how they’ve struggled to replace him. The Packers are still searching for their answer at tight end seven years after he played his last game.
Finley played four seasons in Green Bay during the decade, putting up 2,035 yards and 14 touchdowns.
