Packers: Three winners from Week 10 win against Jaguars
By Cody Young
MVS for the second week in a row played great for the Packers
Stud #1: Marquez Valdes-Scantling
Marquez Valdes-Scantling had himself a game on Sunday. He found himself to be a big part of the offense for the second week in a row. I also think that Rodgers’ trust in the third year wideout has certainly grown with his performance these past two weeks.
Last week I talked about if Green Bay could expect more from MVS, and I think he answered that and then some in this game. Valdes-Scantling has a great skill set and can truly be a huge weapon for this Packers team.
I think the coaches also feel that way because even when he is not playing well, Valdes-Scantling is always getting at least one or two deep targets a game. If MVS can just put it all together, he can easily be a quality receiver in this league.
He went off in this game going for 149 yards on four catches, and a touchdown. His touchdown went for a whopping 78 yards and was key in giving the Packers some momentum. MVS was a major part of the success of the offense in this game.
If he can hit his stride with Adams playing out of his mind, and Allen Lazard coming back soon, this could be an even more dangerous offense than it already is.
