1. Resolve the Aaron Rodgers situation

Of course, the number one priority for the Packers this offseason needs to be to resolve the Aaron Rodgers situation. Right now, we don’t know whether Rodgers will be on the team in Week 1, playing elsewhere, or retired.

As fans, there’s simply no way of knowing the true details on either side of this. But we hope it gets resolved and as soon as possible.

If the Packers commit to Rodgers long term, they need to show it by going all in. Give Rodgers a new deal, a no-trade clause, whatever is necessary to show he is the man moving forward. But if it’s the opposite and the decision is to move forward with Jordan Love, then they should find a trade partner.

Is it possible to continue as things are with Rodgers on his current contract and Love being developed to take over the job a year or two down the line? I’m not so sure.

At the moment, everyone loses. That includes Rodgers, the Packers, and the fans. What’s also important is to not allow this to continue through the offseason and become a distraction for the rest of the team as they prepare for the new season.

Hopefully, Rodgers will be wearing the green and gold in Week 1 of the regular season. But whatever the outcome is, they need to resolve this situation.
