6. Offensive line

Brian Gutekunst is a master of restocking offensive line depth.

Multi-time All-Pro David Bakhtiari returns in 2022, and Pro Bowler Elgton Jenkins will be back, even if he misses the beginning of the regular season. Josh Myers looked rock-solid when healthy as a rookie.

The Packers have some serious depth with Yosh Nijman, Jon Runyan, Royce Newman, Sean Rhyan, Zach Tom, and Rasheed Walker. Many of them can play multiple positions.

Competition for starting jobs should be a lot of fun to watch over the summer.

5. Cornerback

The Packers have arguably the best top three at cornerback in the NFL.

Jaire Alexander is an All-Pro and Pro Bowler. Eric Stokes led the Packers with 14 pass breakups and ranked eighth in the NFL for completion percentage allowed last year, according to Pro Football Reference. Rasul Douglas had a team-high five interceptions with two pick-sixes.

Where there is concern is with the depth. There is a huge drop-off after the top three.

4. Tight end

Robert Tonyan’s status for Week 1 is unclear as he recovers from a torn ACL.

The Packers have solid depth at tight end but no true difference-makers.

Tonyan is a good red-zone threat and Marcedes Lewis is an excellent run-blocker, but the Packers will hope for more from 2020 third-round pick Josiah Deguara.

Green Bay was unable to get tight end help in the draft. Barring a trade or free-agent addition, the Packers will have to hope Tonyan rediscovers his 2020 form when he’s healthy.
