There are some Green Bay Packers players we haven’t heard much about during training camp. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but notable nonetheless.

Throughout Green Bay Packers training camp, we’ve repeatedly heard about incredible plays made by the likes of Rashan Gary, Romeo Doubs, and Jaire Alexander.

It’s great to hear these players putting in strong performances, and it gives fans plenty of excitement.

However, there are some players we would’ve expected more updates about. The fact we haven’t doesn’t mean they aren’t playing well or that they are underperforming, but it’s notable.

Here are five Packers players who have gone ‘missing’ at training camp to this point.

Jonathan Garvin

The battle for the number three edge rusher spot is wide open this summer. One player we haven’t heard too much about is Jonathan Garvin.

LaDarius Hamilton appears to be the frontrunner for the job as things stand. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky tweeted on Monday that “Hamilton is making a strong case for the No. 3 OLB spot”.

We can also assume that rookie Kingsley Enagbare is a roster lock. Tipa Galeai is also in the mix.

So, where does it leave Garvin?

That remains unclear. If he puts in a good performance in the preseason opener, it will help his stock.

Just because there haven’t been many updates about Garvin, it doesn’t mean he’s not playing well. But good performances from other pass rushers leaves some uncertainty over his chances of making the roster.
