Defensive

Sacks: Rashan Gary

Rashan Gary was the Packers’ best pass rusher in Week 1, making the team’s only sack along with two quarterback hits.

He is one of the best young edge rushers in the league and could be set for a huge season.

While he wasn’t at his dominant best in Week 1, Gary still generated pressure and came up with some big plays.

Tackles: De’Vondre Campbell

This might not be much of a contest. De’Vondre Campbell was a tackle machine for the Packers in his All-Pro 2021 season. He’s off to a fast start this year, making 11 tackles in the season opener at Minnesota.

Campbell could face more competition this year with the addition of rookie Quay Walker, who had eight tackles in Week 1 despite not playing the entire game.

However, Campbell will still likely be the Packers’ clear leader in tackles this season.

Interceptions: Rasul Douglas

Rasul Douglas led the Packers in interceptions last season, and there’s no reason to doubt him again.

Jaire Alexander won’t be thrown at too often. Quarterbacks tend to look elsewhere. Eric Stokes had opportunities last year but failed to make the most of them, only coming up with one interception.

Alexander and Stokes won’t offer much separation, and quarterbacks might be forced to throw Douglas’ way. As he proved last season, that’s a big risk for quarterbacks. Just ask Matthew Stafford.
