The Green Bay Packers are in desperate need of a win as the Los Angeles Rams come to Lambeau Field for Week 9 action.
While the Packers offense has fallen by the wayside, some of that can be attributed to Aaron Jones not being healthy. Jones has missed time already this season with a hamstring injury, but head coach Matt LaFleur seems poised to let his running back take over on Sunday.
Here is how I'm looking to wager on Jones having a big outing against the Rams on Sunday:
Aaron Jones OVER 19.5 Receiving Yards
Despite practicing with a non-contact jersey this week, LaFleur said that he is ready to "cut him loose" on Sunday.
Jones has been in and out of the lineup all year, but when he has been on the field he has produced, especially in the passing game. The No. 1 running back played his highest volume of snaps last week, 51%, and could be in line for even more Sunday.
Rookie quarterback Jordan Love has looked Jones way often as a pass catcher, he has at least four targets in three of four games and has cleared this number in two of four games, including an 86-yard game in Week 1.
I'm going to take the head coach's word for it that Jones is good to go with the Packers backs against the wall at 2-5 on the year.
