Stephon Tuitt – Defensive End, Notre Dame, 6-6, 312
Tuitt is a defensive lineman steadily rising on many draft boards. He has the right big, tall frame to fit defensive end in a 3-4 scheme. The Packers have lacked defensive ends with this type of frame for some time now.
With B.J. Raji, Ryan Pickett, Johnny Jolly, and C.J. Wilson all set to become free agents in 2014, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Packers go defensive line again in the first round. Green Bay will need more big bodies that can hold up against the run in base defense.
Plus, Tuitt is a pretty good pass rusher. He’s totaled 17 sacks in the past two seasons and 17 tackles for a loss.
