As the Green Bay Packers set atop many current power rankings, a Monday Night Football match-up with the Atlanta Falcons looms.
At first glance, Atlanta’s record may not indicate a battle of division leaders, but it’s just that.
The Falcons lead the NFC South with a record of 5-7 while the Packers sit on top of the NFC North at 9-3. Green Bay comes in 6-0 at Lambeau Field, while coming off their biggest win of the season against the visiting New England Patriots.
Atlanta also comes into the game off the heels of their biggest win of the season. The Falcons handed the Arizona Cardinals only their third loss of the season in a 29-18 victory.
Matt Ryan went over 360 yards passing while Steven Jackson posted over 100 yards rushing and Julio Jones had a touchdown to go along with 189 receiving yards.
An impressive outing for the Falcons.
