The 2015 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and in a few days we’ll finally get to see how this whole draft picture plays out and who the Green Bay Packers will add to their roster.

In anticipation of the draft, I put together my position-by-position rankings, taking a close look at the top prospects in this class and who Green Bay could target come draft day.

This past week, we already broke down the defensive positions: defensive lineedge rusherinside linebackercornerback, and safety.

Today, we turn to the offense and break down this year’s running back class.

Despite the Packers not having a major need in the backfield, they still have an opening behind Eddie Lacy and James Starks at the position after losing DuJuan Harris this offseason.

I don’t expect Green Bay to use an early-round pick on a back, but they may consider drafting one in one of the later rounds.

This year’s running back group is very deep, so there will be plenty of talent available on day three of the draft.

Let’s take a look at this year’s running back prospects and who would be a good fit in Green Bay’s offense.

When ranking players, I grouped them into four tiers during the pre-draft process and then ranked the players within those tiers.

Tier One: Potential impact players at the next level.

Tier Two: Players who could be solid starters or make contributions as a rookie.

Tier Three: Developmental prospects who have some upside but may not be ready to contribute immediately.

Tier Four: Role players who could offer depth to the roster.

Here’s how we ranked the top 20 running backs of the 2015 NFL Draft.
