Green Bay Packers video: Five tryout players signed – who are these guys?
Green Bay Packers GM Ted Thompson has been nearly canonized for his work in finding diamonds in the rough – the guys who walk in off the street, make an impression and find themselves on the 53-man roster.
We will have our chances once again to see what happens one more time around.
That’s because Thompson announced yesterday that five tryout players who participated in this past weekend’s rookie orientation have been signed to contracts. Those signings fill the 90-man roster to the brim.
To get the team to the maximum of 90 players, the Packers also had to cut two players – WR Antwan Goodley and LS Taybor Pepper.
We all understand that the roster at this time of year is one in flux. It changes nearly daily for a variety of reasons. But for now, we are going to take a look at these newest players added to the roster.
On the following pages, we’ll take a look at these guys:
LB Josh Letuligasenoa;
CB Raysean Pringle;
RB William Stanback;
LB David Talley; and
S Aaron Taylor
