Before I re-release the Madden 11 player ratings for the Green Bay Packers to Cheesehead Nation through this blog, I would like to introduce myself. As you observant ones may have noticed, I am not JCLombardi. Well, if you hadn’t noticed, now you know. So as your eyes wander up to the author of this post, you see “Casey Durkin” and you wonder to yourself, who is “Casey Durkin”? I am Casey Durkin, and here is a little bit about me. <— Click that link, por favor!

Ok, now its business time. Below you will read all of the information about the Green Bay Packers that you could ever wish to know, pertaining to Madden 11 at least.

Overall Team Rating: 87, This is a very respectable rating, 6th in the NFL tied with the Dallas Cowboys, and one point under the 88 rated division rival Minnesota Vikings.

2010 Madden Rating: 87, There was no change from the 2011 Green Bay Packers and the 2010 Green Bay Packers in Madden ratings, which seems about right. I would have upped our rating because of the fact that the Packers are getting more experienced, our defense came out of no where and was extremely successful (despite some blips on the radar against elite QBs), we led the league in turnover ratio, and our offensive line came together to only let up 9 more sacks from week 7 on, after giving up 41 in the first 6 games.

Ladies and Gentleman, lets have a hand for the Green Bay Packers offense! Aaron Rodgers has supplanted himself into the upper echelon of passers in the game with an impressive 94 overall rating. Behind him, features a deep backfield, with not much speed, but a lot of power. And, in front of our franchise quarterback, our offensive line is rated as a consistent “OK” across the board, as the lowest projected starter is center Scott Wells with a 76 rating.

Now, look to your right. You will see that this is a rather long post and it is being split into multiple pages of Madden-osity.
