5.) Channeling their inner ACME Packers

In this photo taken in 2010 when the Packers first wore their 1929 throwback uniforms, you can see Ray Rivard, the editor of this site, kneeling and taking pictures behind Donald Driver’s right let.

Since bringing back the old school ACME Packers uniforms in 2010 the Packers are 2-0 in the throwbacks. In 2011m they beat the St. Louis Rams, 24-3, thanks to Aaron Rodgers’ three second-quarter touchdown passes, one going for 93 yards into the hands of Jordy Nelson.

In 2010, they knocked off the San Francisco 49ers, 34-16, thanks in part to arguably Donald Driver‘s greatest moment as a Green Bay Packer when he caught a 61-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers, in which he broke five tackles on his way to a memorable touchdown.

The Packers didn’t wear the throwbacks in 2012, but after fans clamored for the throwbacks to make a return in 2013, the organization obliged, and now the Packers will wear the throwbacks, with a little twist, Sunday. The Packers will wear their standard yellow helmets, stripped of all the decals with the throwback jersey and pants due to new NFL rules on safety.

Can the Packers make it 3-0 in the throwbacks Sunday?
