The Bears are limping into the bye with the loss of Jay Cutler for at least 4 weeks along with Lance Briggs. Both players suffered injuries in the wild game at Washington last Sunday. The Bears, however, will be afforded with a bye week to try and get their vaunted defense somewhat healthier before a big Monday night game against Green Bay. As well as the Packers are playing right now, the Bears will need every bit of preparation to keep pace in the NFC North with their rivals.
