The Saints destroyed the Cowboys. To be honest with you, destroyed doesn’t even do justice what the Saints did.
An NFL record 40 first downs coupled with 600-plus yards of offense. Marques Colston returned and for the first time in forever, the Saints established a running game.
Maybe it was just the Cowboys’ defense, but a match-up with a 49ers team fresh off disappointment makes for a very intriguing tilt this weekend.
My guess is Drew Brees shows Colin Kaepernick what real quarterbacks do: Throw the ball.
