Let’s just call it what it is.

Ahmad Brooks destroyed Drew Brees, legally I may add, and the 49ers recovered the fumble.

Unfortunately, the hit was just too big for a player of Drew Brees’ “marketability” and it had to be flagged giving the Saints the ball back.

In the end, the 49ers proved that physical, rough play can beat this New Orleans team in the dome. It doesn’t reflect in the wins/loss column, but the Saints should be tied with Carolina.

They get to practice their dirty band dance against Atlanta Thursday.
