Alabama Crimson Tide defensive back Ha

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix – Safety, Alabama, 6-1, 208, (4.54)

Safety could arguably be the Packers biggest need going into next year. M.D. Jennings was benched against Atlanta for Sean Richardson. The Packers are still seeking a playmaker in the defensive backfield since Nick Collins‘ departure.

Clinton-Dix could be that guy. He’s hands-down the best safety in this draft class. He’s an impact player on a top-notch Alamaba defense. He can play in the box and make stops against the run. He can roam the middle of the field, has the speed to close in on receivers, and is aggressive in playing the ball in the air.

Clinton-Dix is currently projected to go in the middle of the first round, which would be perfect for a Green Bay team seeking an impact player to join their secondary.
