Even if Aaron Rodgers starts for the Packers, I expect them to use Eddie Lacy on the ground extensively. This will be bad news for Pittsburgh’s 19th ranked run defense, especially since McLendon and Brett Keisel (if he even plays) will be hobbled. Forcing the Steelers to stack the box to stop the run will force their underperforming secondary to be exposed, and Flynn or Rodgers have the ability to hurt them through the air if their run game is successful.

As I have stated multiple times this season, Pittsburgh will always have a chance if they allow Roethlisberger to take control and get his offense off to a fast start. If Todd Haley dawdles with his play-calling or they try to establish a run-heavy attack with Le’Veon Bell, they will be in danger of falling behind and the offense will go stagnant like they did against Baltimore three weeks ago.

I think the game will be closer than most expect, but I cannot see the Packers taking a week off when they control their own postseason destiny.

Packers 24, Steelers 19
