Ted Thompson, accomplished general manager of the Green Bay Packers, has been praised for his ability to pick talent through the NFL draft.

As an organization, the Packers have always been known for their concrete draft-and-develop approach. They don’t spend a lot of money in free agency, instead hoping to develop young talent in the offseason that can come in and produce quickly. That was their strategy again this past season, collecting 11 players through the draft in April.
