Kahlil Bell: This was an insurance move for the Packers after rookie Johnathan Franklin was moved to injured reserve. Bell has spent seasons with the Chicago Bears, New York Jets and now the Green Bay Packers and has garnished little production to add to his resume. He has never been a workhorse back, always a complement.
- Bell will return to the Green Bay Packers if – DuJuan Harris and Johnathan Franklin are traded and no other prospects are available. There are just too many other valuable assets in the backfield at the Packers’ disposal if all are healthy.
- Bell walks if – all other running backs are healthy at the start of the offseason.
