Kyle’s Pick: Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State
Brandin Cooks projects as a Randall Cobb or Victor Cruz kind of player. He is extremely explosive and has game changing abilities. This pick gives Cam Newton a great new threat and opens up more of the field for Greg Olsen.
Dec 7, 2013; Charlotte, NC, USA; Florida State Seminoles wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (1) runs by the tackle of Duke Blue Devils cornerback Ross Cockrell (6) during the third quarter at Bank of America Stadium. FSU defeated Duke 45-7. Mandatory Credit: Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports
Dan’s Pick: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
Steve Smith only has a few good years left and the Panthers lack dynamic players at the receiver position. Benjamin is a bit raw, but at 6-foot-6 and 235 pounds, his tremendous size and potential upside makes him an intriguing prospect for a team desperate for receiver help.
