Ted Thompson in a single word

Today was a great day for Green Bay Packers General Manager Ted Thompson and Packers fans.

The Packers head scout, as he likes to call himself, was re-signed to a multi-year contract extension, putting to end all that talk the past few months that he would be cashing in his career with the Packers and either moving on to a more lucrative and easier job.

Such was not the case.

Thompson’s best quote of the day at his press conference? Here you go:

“How nuts are you to walk away from something like this?”

Well, the greatest majority of Packers Nation is glad he isn’t crazy enough to walk away. Once we have a chance to look back on this past offseason, it’s got to be one of the best Thompson has ever orchestrated. Of course, many things have to come together and occur, but the pieces have been put in place on both sides of the ball for a run toward the playoffs.

So, with all that in mind today, we asked our Facebook friends to give us a single word description of Ted Thompson.

While some used more than one word and one had nothing but vile language for him (it was deleted), there were some pretty good descriptors posted.
