Kicker: Blair Walsh, MN
Walsh has a powerful leg and is right around 90 percent in field goal percentage in his young career. Green Bay’s Mason Crosby gets a close consideration here, but his atrocious 2012 season is a black eye in a career that’s tough to ignore.
As a rookie, Martin finished sixth in the league and first in the division with a 47.2 punting average. Martin also finished just one punt behind Minnesota’s Jeff Locke for the most punts pinned behind the twenty-yard line with 22 on the season.
Returner: Cordarrelle Patterson, MN
As a rookie, Patterson finished last season second in the NFL in kick return yards (1,393), first in kick return touchdowns (2), first in kick return average (34.2), and first in returns more than 40 yards (10).
