Lombardi Ave: Fantasy Football Rosters Set

For a couple reasons, this past Sunday was a real good one.

First, football was on.

Second, while football was on, the Lombardi Ave staff took part in a fantasy football draft.

Picking with his head and not his heart, Tim Thomas chose Adrian Peterson number one overall. I was next on the clock to choose.  It was between two running backs, and you could probably guess which ones. I went with Jamaal Charles over LaSean McCoy.

You really can’t go wrong with either of these two.

Not surprisingly, McCoy was the next to go.

Green Bay Packer’s own Eddie Lacy went number six to Kyle Fellows and the best quarterback in the universe (Aaron Rodgers) went number nine overall to Josh McPeak right behind Peyton Manning.

Other Green Bay Packers that were drafted to fantasy rosters include James Starks (122nd overall), Jordy Neslon (13th overall), Mason Crosby (112th overall), Randall Cobb (30th overall), and Jarrett Boykin (138th overall).

The Green Bay defense was even drafted (154th overall)!

I think we all really hope that pick works out, Dan Dahlke!
