Nelson and Cobb, of course, make it; they are two of the top wideout talents in the league and will head the receiving corps again this year. Boykin by all accounts hasn’t had a great preseason and camp, and he still stands to hold onto the #3 WR spot because of the struggles Adams has faced in overtaking him.

Adams still should be seen as the #4 receiver for now, but could overtake Boykin during the season. Janis began camp with shingles but since returning has shown plenty of ability – so much so that he undoubtedly would be swiped up if Green Bay tried to slip him onto the practice squad; expect him to make the roster.

Because of issues elsewhere on the roster, the Packers may only carry five players here. If they carry six they have a few options from which to choose, with players like Alex Gillett and Kevin Dorsey both looking like they could make an impact. From those two, Dorsey would probably make it based on his special teams potential.
