Week 12: Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota is a team in transition, but with a potentially bright future. They have plenty of young, talented players all throughout the roster and if things break well they may even compete for the playoffs as soon as this year. That could depend on when they get to playing Teddy Bridgewater over Matt Cassel at QB, but unless Cassel is leading the team to an undefeated record here it is a good bet the Bridgewater will be under center.

With Bridgewater as starter, some think this offense will be better than with Cassel, but I don’t think the improvement would be all that great, at least not initially. Next season, good; this season, alright, but with rookie mistakes. He’ll be abl;e to make plays, but his mistakes will wipe out the positives in some games, and against a strong Packers secondary I could easily see that occurring. If Green Bay does anything to slow Adrian Peterson and Co (if he’s still on the team or in the league), look for it to be a long game for Teddy and a road divisional win for Green Bay, who should put up plenty of points on their end to win handily.
