Green Bay Packers: Wins and losses from week two
By Jamie Wright
Jordy Nelson
Let’s just talk about how Nelson had a 209-yard day against the Jets.
It was a career high for him – and he connected with Rodgers on nearly all the crucial plays of the game. He is such a clutch player, like Mike McCarthy stated after the game, and Packers players and fans alike are spoiled by how amazing he is on the field.
His 80-yard touchdown catch and run was a thing of beauty. No receiver is as underrated as this guy; he doesn’t get a lot of love from outside forces but he certainly deserves it.
Without his rapport with Rodgers on Sunday, things could have gone in a very different direction.
