LOSSES

Run Game

The Packers just have NOT been able to establish a run game.

Against Seattle, Eddie Lacy had a couple of good carries, early. As the game progressed, he was continuously shut down at the line of scrimmage.

Against the Jets, it was difficult to establish the run at all.

Rex Ryan is known for his ability to load the box and take away the run game. He showed the same hand on Sunday … and the Packers couldn’t find a way to battle it.

The offensive line was unable to open holes enough for Lacy to gain ground, with 4 yards being his longest carry for most of the game.

Without a sufficient run game, the Packers’ offense becomes one dimensional again and that is too predictable to continue being successful.
