Last week the Green Bay Packers brought out the emotional roller coaster big-time; starting off giving up a large lead and then slowly working their way back to take and hold onto the win over the New York Jets.
Sure they were helped by a few gaffes from the Jets (Muhammed Wilkerson getting ejected, that ridiculous fourth quarter timeout foible), but after the slow start the Packers key players started to make themselves known.
Aaron Rodgers ended up with multiple touchdowns and more than 300 yards; Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb combined for three TDs and a bundle of yards, and even the defense finally came around in the second half.
For the next three weeks, Green Bay gets the pleasure of facing three division opponents in a stretch that can go a long way to showing us fans what this team is capable of.
First up is a team that under its previous coach seemed to have a tendency to act out and be somewhat overzealous and a bit “dirty” – the Detroit Lions.
Let’s begin the fantasy profile at the most obvious position … turn the page.
