RB – Eddie Lacy
After a strong rookie season that earned him the Offensive Rookie of the Year and a player Packers fans adore, Lacy has had a rough going to begin this season.
He unfortunately started off a second consecutive season with concussion, and though he was able to play last week he has not been able to have a great start to the year.
Overall the running game has looked a lot like its pre-2013 self so far; suffice to say, non-existent. The top runner for Green Bay against the Jets? Lacy – but barely over Rodgers (43 to 28).
If Green Bay is to become the team they will need to be to win the Super Bowl, that has to change.
The Lions won’t be the easiest team to do that on; they are currently only allowing about 57 yards per game on the ground. A huge game on the ground would definitely help things out all around, but don’t expect it here. It’ll be at least another week until Lacy finally breaks out.
Prediction: 50 rush yards
Verdict: Do Not Start
