Rodgers has continued to play great, and last week he added some more excitement to his legacy. That fake spike was extremely risky, but he made the call with no hesitation and worked it to perfection.
Beyond that, he has still been playing strong. On the season, he has 15 TDs compared to only 1 INT while leading the offense to 38, 42, and 27 points the past three weeks.
Against a Carolina team that has been leaking out points to their opponents (30+ in the past 4 games), expect Rodgers to put up another strong performance.
The Panthers haven’t had anywhere near last year’s pass-rush strength and the secondary hasn’t coalesced positively, so they cannot be relied on to stop a top quarterback.
Prediction: 320 yards, 3 TDs
Verdict: Start
