WRs – Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams

After putting up all the receivers last time, I’m only including the ones who I think have a chance at making a consistent impact. The others could do something, but with so few probable chances it would be fighting long odds to bank on one of them producing a significant amount.

Jordy has been a beast all year and well worth his contract. He has 43 catches (3rd in the league) with 632 yards (1st) and 5 TDs (T-4th). He has been targeted (68) for more passes than only Julio Jones of the Falcons (69), and he has 220 yards after the catch. This guy has been on fire as the focal point of the offense, and should continue to act as such all season long.

Randall Cobb doesn’t have the gaudy yardage totals, but he does have 7 TDs (2nd in the league). His ability to keep moving and finding space during plays is impeccable too, and helped result in a TD on one of those many ridiculous moments where Rodgers bides his time and moves around until he finds an open guy. If you can, you should try keeping an eye on him during his routes; you’ll like what you see.

Adams has managed to fully step into that #3 WR role, and it is paying dividends out there. Not only has he been putting up decent handfuls of catches, but he’s apparently earned enough trust that Rodgers is comfortable with pulling off plays like that fake spike. Make no mistake; if Aaron wasn’t yet comfortable with him, that would have been a regular spike. He trusts him now, and that should help him continue to see targets.

Against Carolina’s struggling pass rush and secondary, expect to see these guys all have strong games.

Predictions: 120 yards (Nelson); 70 yards, TD (Cobb); 70 yards, TD (Adams)
Verdicts: Start All
