Disclaimer: For any fantasy scoring numbers, I will be using those generated by Yahoo! fantasy football. It is the system I have played a majority of my fantasy football on over the years – and currently play on. Other setups are fine – I’ve worked with ESPN and NFL fantasy football teams in the past – but seeing as I have the most experience using this scoring system, I’ll stick with using their methods of scoring.
Last week was an unequivocal success for Green Bay Packers fans. That absolute demolition of the Carolina Panthers was awesome to behold, and the final score doesn’t begin to hint at the domination Green Bay showed from the start.
The opponents this week look to potentially be another easy target for Aaron Rodgers and Co. to pick apart.
New Orleans comes in a wounded team, one that has underachieved considerably compared to where everyone expected them to prior to the start of the year. They sit at 2-4, and even their wins are not that impressive; Minnesota was still adjusting to early-on life without Adrian Peterson, and Tampa Bay was up by multiple scores before falling apart in the last few minutes.
The Saints are dealing with key injuries that abound on offense and a defense that has allowed opponents to do whatever they choose to at will.
Do not overlook them, however; having Sean Payton and Drew Brees at the helm makes them dangerous on offense no matter who is out there, and in their dome they will still be a difficult challenge.
In terms of fantasy and reality, expect some big games all around, starting with the Packers’ best player …
