Green Bay Packers: Midseason Missteps – ‘Let’s Be Honest’

In the first part of my Green Bay Packers midseason report, I mentioned the accolades from the first eight games of the season.
There were several “silver linings” to the 5-3 start for the Green Bay Packers – some of which were:
- Aaron Rodgers
- Julius Peppers
- Stability at the QB position
- Heightened play from the Receiving Corps
- Much improved secondary play
- Getting Eddie Lacy the ball in open space
Where there are other things going right for the Green Bay Packers (i.e: solid rookie play on the offensive line in center Corey Linsley, a solid 1-2 running back punch in Eddie Lacy and James Starks, and the overall good health of most star players), there is also a laundry list of things that the Packers need to shore up in order to be real contenders for the Lombardi trophy this year … or any other in the future.
I’m calling this, Green Bay Packers’ Citizen GM:
