Lombardiave: So Mike, Green Bay left Chicago with a twenty-one point victory in week four. Including that game, the Bears have dropped four of their last five, including their latest twenty-eight-point thrashing to the New England Patriots. Would you say ‘Da Bears’ are officially in ‘Turmoil’?
Beargoggleson: Turmoil?
That would perfectly describe the Bears right now.
I knew the Bears defense wasn’t going to be top 10, but I didn’t expect the Bears offense to be so flat.
I just don’t get it.
The Bears have one of the most versatile running backs in the NFL in Matt Forte. They have one of the top receiving duos in Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall and one of the better all-around tight ends in Martellus Bennett.
The offensive line is decent and Jay Cutler is good enough to perform better than he has been in the last few games.
I want to R-E-L-A-X, but it is really hard to not be freaking out due to the underperforming Bears.
Bears fans, including myself, are not very happy right now. So how are the Packers doing after that [game] they dropped in New Orleans?
Should Packers fans be a little worried?
