A bunch of horse manure!

On Oct. 21, 1985, Mike Ditka introduced the world to William “The Refrigerator” Perry. The Fridge would be inserted at fullback against the Packers when the Bears approached the goal line. This proved to be an almost unstoppable force blocking for the late-great Walter Payton.

The Fridge was also able to score a touchdown himself in the contest.

Two weeks later the teams would meet again. This time the battle would take place at Lambeau Field. Much to the surprise of the Chicago Bears they would have two large packages delivered to their locker room.

The contents of those two packages would be none other than…HORSE MANURE!

Rumor has it the special package was compliments of a local radio station.
