The Packers defense backed up a miserable outing against the Saints with a complete drubbing of the lowly Bears.

Clay Matthews moved to the inside, which reaped instant benefits for the Packers defense. They got to Jay Cutler four times and forced three turnovers, one resulting in a touchdown.

Many think that the Packers are fixed. In the words of Lee Corso, “Not so fast my friends.”

The Packers have yet to beat a team over .500 (Miami went over after the next week). The main reason they have lost those other three contests rest on the defense’s inability to contain the run.

LeSean McCoy is having a down year but is still extremely dangerous. The Eagles also have Darren Sproles, who always seems to make a big play.

With the re-emergence of Mark Sanchez, this Eagles team is scary. Sanchez has built a strong bond with Jordan Matthews and runs Chip Kelly’s offense with ease.

The Packers defense must get stops and get off the field because they do not have the depth to keep up with the Eagles fast-paced offense.

I think this will be a tight game that could see some points put up.

Buyer beware.
