The last silver lining – is the overall health of the Packers this far into the season.
Injuries have consistently been an issue over the course of the last few years. This year has seen its downs – but there have been many more ups.
Sam Shields returned to action Sunday night, Morgan Burnett was back and making plays. Tramon Williams has been able to stay relatively healthy and Casey Hayward seems completely over the hamstring injury that held him out of the 2013 season.
The offensive line woes were brought to a head this past week, as T.J. Lang and Josh Sitton were both inactive during the practices following the bye week, and Bryan Bulaga has been hobbled.
However, all injured parties returned to work Sunday night and made their presence known.
It was good to see
After suffering injuries to both Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews in 2013, the Packers are ready to be plague-free for just a little while.
