Lombardi Ave: How has the Minnesota fan base handled the Adrian Peterson situation and where do you think the team would currently stand had he been on the field every week?
The Viking Age: I don’t think there’s a topic that I’m more sick of hearing about than Adrian Peterson.
Honestly, I’m not sure how much of a difference he could have made on the Minnesota Vikings season had he been available for every game this year.
I think that Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata have combined for an efficient running back tandem that made fans forget about Peterson for a little while.
Still, what Peterson did was very wrong and I’m glad he was punished by the league, but the fact that Roger Goodell seems to be making up things as he goes with this situation and violating the terms of the Exempt/Commissioner’s Permission List has football fans, not only Vikings fans, furious.
