Last Week: 1/1 FG attempts (1 40-49 yards), 3 PATs; 7 fantasy points
Last week is why I added the caveat of ‘as far as kickers go’ to the Crosby verdict. You just cannot trust kickers week-to-week in fantasy football to produce; there are too many variables and randomness that play into games to predict their opportunities on a weekly basis.
Still, even with that he managed to produce 7 fantasy points for those who did play him. Not the best you could hope for obviously, but it falls within what I would consider a decent expectation for points in any given week.
He’s still as good an option as any on a week-to-week basis out there in the realms of fantasy football, so he’s a solid choice to stick with, especially this week.
As I said at the start, this is set up to be a shootout, and that is a great spot for any fantasy kicker. Add in the fact that Green Bay puts themselves in position to score so often — and even moreso at home — and you should be able to freely expect (caveat: as far as kickers go) him to produce big for you here.
Prediction: 3 FGs (1 20-29, 1 30-39 yards, 1 40-49 yards), 4 PATs; 14 fantasy points
Verdict: Must-Start (as far as kickers go)
