RB – Eddie Lacy
Last Week: 21 carries, 98 rushing yards, 2 catches, 17 receiving yards; 11.50 fantasy points
Eddie Lacy started off strong against the Patriots, gaining a majority of his yardage on the first drive. After that, things slowed down considerably however; it seemed every run after the hot start was a yards and a cloud of dust.
It wasn’t all his fault though; the Patriots were forcing Green Bay to go away from their top options all game, and that includes Lacy. Despite all of that though, we still saw Lacy reach over 100 yards from scrimmage again.
Against a team as weak against the run as the Falcons are, expect Lacy to get some good runs again. I’m seeing another dominant effort much like what we saw him produce in the two matchups against the Vikings earlier this season.
In terms of the scoreboard, I’m expecting it to look much closer to the first matchup than the second.
Prediction: 120 rushing yards, 30 receiving yards, 2 TDs (rushing); 27 Fantasy Points
Verdict: Must-Start
