49. The Packers were much improved on defense in 2014, especially after Clay Matthews was moved to inside linebacker. Defensive coordinator Dom Capers will want to be able to move Matthews back outside where he truly dominates. With A.J. Hawk and Brad Jones potentially heading for the exit door, inside linebacker becomes an even bigger position of need for the Packers. With Bernardrick McKinney off the board, Eric Kendricks becomes a solid selection for Ted Thompson. He has great athleticism and is able to stop the run effectively, as well as roll in coverage..
